If you have different costs for raw materials and make costs from sampling to production, you might want to separate sample production from bulk production into separate seasons

Run through usual proceses to create Products

You can add multiple manufactures - maybe you use a different manufacturer for sampling or maybe you have different prices for sampling in your production factory

This is how it might look......

Create Product Costings via bulk import or single entry

We have assigned two manufacturers to our sample product

You have to assign one manufacturer to create the product and the second one can be added at any stage.

1. Add manufacturer

2. First Cost/Make Price for making samples - goes to costing and production order

3. Lead time for making samples

4. Notes re Minimums for this manufacturer

5. Internal comments - only for this product/manufacturer

You can add the production manufacturer with production price - can be useful for checking projected wholesale prices/margins etc.

N.B. The manufacturer ticked as default will be the one on any production orders you've created

You can flip between manufacturers/make prices on the costs page - to check overall costs/margins for your bulk
