You will need to transfer your stock if you have a different location assigned to receive your production and a different location assigned to fulfil your sales orders (for example, you receive your production in 'London Warehouse' Location and one of your customers ('Flagship Store') has a separate location from which you fulfil sales orders ('Flagship Store' Location).
As per our example, you would need to review which location is currently assigned to receive Production ('London Warehouse') and which one is assigned to fulfil Sales Orders ('Flagship Store'). Review Multi Locations - System Settings - Multi Inventory Settings to set your Locations.
Ensure that your Customers are set appropriate location. You can do this individually or in bulk, review Multi Locations - Customers - Set customer’s default locations to learn how to do this.
Once you've created and booked in your Production Order, create a Transfer Request of stock between a location that is assigned to receive Production ('London Warehouse') and a location assigned to your Customer fulfil Sales Orders ('Flagship Store').
