How can I enable Product Versioning on my Zedonk?
Simply email us with your request to [email protected] to enable Product Versioning. This feature is included in your subscription at no additional charge but requires enabling.
How does season linking affect product versioning?
Similar to how the prices/costs are linked to products when products are made visible from previous seasons. When you make a new season, Zedonk needs to know what season to carry this information from. Make sure each season is set up correctly and "Previous Season" is always specified. When you carry a product over to the new season, Zedonk will look for its product version in the 'Previous Season'.
How does product versioning work with product sampling?
You can use product versioning for product sampling. You can create separate sampling seasons in your Zedonk, as per our Sample Season articles and assign the sampling version to your sample season.
How does product versioning work with Data Imports?
If you are using the Data Import tool to create new products, your default product version (set in your System Settings) will be used. If you are using the Data Import tool to update your existing products, your currently assigned product version to the season will be updated.
How does product versioning work with the Products Stock Inventory?
Your inventory is not product version specific. All product versions are grouped as one in your Products Stock Inventory.
How does product versioning work with Production Book Out/In?
As you can assign only one product version per season, that version will be used when creating production.
